A file prepared correctly from the start gives sharp, true-color DTF prints and a faster layout. Here is what to prepare before sending files to IN PET DTF.
1. File format
- PNG with transparent background is the easiest format for DTF printing.
- If you have the original design file (AI, PSD, PDF, EPS, SVG), send it too so we can adjust when needed.
- Screenshots or images downloaded from social media are usually blurry; avoid using them as print files.
2. Size and resolution
- Set the file to the actual print size on the garment: a 28cm-wide back print needs a 28cm-wide file.
- Resolution around 300 dpi at actual size.
- Keep small text and thin lines thick enough to stay clear after printing and pressing.
3. Background, edges and color
- Remove white or colored backgrounds around the design.
- Soft edges and blurred shadows on dark garments may show the white underbase. Use clean edges or ask us to adjust.
- Screen and print colors may differ slightly. For exact brand colors, send color codes or a physical sample.
4. Information to include
- Size and quantity of each design.
- Garment color and fabric (cotton, polyester, blend, jersey, kate, silk).
- Film only, or pressed garments.
